Pairing GSM

I have a single GSM in my 75 and she has been there for about 6 months. Could I try and pair her? And if so could I do it in a 10 gallon quarantine tank?

I would that there would be no harm in trying, and if you are lucky you will end up with a pair, however I would go a little bigger than a 10g- 20 or 30g maybe?

I paired my large female up with a smaller one and had no problem. That being said I was Lucky. What I did was buy one of those hanging fish containers "Tomm" I believe from That Fish Place. I then drilled numerous water holes through out it to allow water flow. I place the container in the tank and put the new GSM inside of the container. Doing it this way I believe it allows both to become used to one another. After about a week I released the new GSM and observed the female let him know that she was the boss, with very little fin damage. The pretty much took to one another instantly and have been together as a pair ever since (7-8 months ago).
