Pairing my maroons

Tourkid, come on buddy...I know you're a pro at pairing maroon but don't comment on mine like I don't know what I am sayin.
"I donno about that month thing either." Of course you don't cause they were my fish, happened at my house. Not every pairing situation are the same. Maybe I read you wrong but if that was your intention...not cool buddy.

TOURKID has been mellow and also good feedback as well as KTTSF, I'm sure she didn't mean to insult anyone.
I do agree every tank/exp. is different for everyone.
Tanks/fish are like snowflakes, no two exactly the same.
GSM, thanks for comp.
You guys have an opinion on mixing the wht w/ gold?
I really want that variation.

kttsf- hes right. im a very mellow girl. relax i dident mean to insult you. I participate in this forum almost daily and dont mean to offend anyone.. ever.
I do think a month is to long to keep a maroon in a small confined space, and the female really should relax before then. but seriously, no harm ment, sorry if i offended you

I havent read much on mixing the two. i have read the white stripes are more aggressive than yellows, but i think it can be done. your girl doesent look TO mean... at least shes not trying to eat thru the plastic like mine was lol
let it out whenever you feel like its time. I would do it an hour or two b4 lights out. enough time for him to find a place to hide, but not to long so if it is getting a beating it wont last toooo long

yes mine was charging the container like a great white on a shark cage with chum in the water the next day she stared at him from the anemone
i really see no reason why you should not wait 48 hours until you let the male out.

I kept the male in a container in the tank for 4 days. After that I released the male in the tank with the female in there and after all the hiding and beating...it took A MONTH for them to finally accept each other. NO, I didn't keep the male a month in the container...I meant a month for them finally pairing up in the tank. I love clownfish so much so I read and research everything there is about clownfish out there...so might be a bit sensitive...sorry about that TOURKID!

My friends all have cute nicknames for my fish, her name is B%&*#!LOL
She bites my callased construction worker hands and draws blood.
The one swipe she made at the new guy took almost half a pectoral fin AND some of the tail!
I almost got rid of her at tank swap, but she is really nice to her nem AND other fish, so I deal w/ her.
This is one that will test my patience.
Don't let her looks fool you.

My girl will bite me and hang on and start shaking like a dog. its really funny. I dont even jump and splash water everywhere anymore
My maroon isent bothered by any other fish either! i thought about a flame hawk, but that makes me a lil nervous with the color and body shape!!
