Pale colors

I have been using Bio pellets for almost a year now, still get odd blooms of thick red and green almost carpet like algae and my sps all have pale color, color is nice just not dark and rich like it was before I had a issue with the darn recalled Kent carbon.

what are the waters s parameters? could need some amino's ? that always perks my colors up ..maybe you have stripped the water?

This seems to be an issue with several reefers, Biopellets and t5s seem to be the constant. Feeding more has been successful, adding more fish may be key.

Are you running T5's? If so what is your bulb combo? How long do your run the lights each day?

Feed more or add more fish.
