Panda Goby Yes/No

My LFS has a few of these tiny fish I'd say no more than a 1/2" in length. I have a pretty heavily stocked 90g SPS reef (including a few pocillopora frags) with more than adequate filtration to handle the bio load, although I couldn't imagine this little guy having much of an impact just wanted to rule out bio load as a concern and gear more towards the other inhabitants and whether or not they will play nice. Here is my stock list.

Yellow tang
Lyretail Anthias
Borbonius Anthias
Blue green chromis
Bangaii cardinal
Royal gramma
Red mandarin
Ruby red dragonet
(4) serpent stars (smooth legs)

You will never see it and it will be a waste of money. We had a few in a 20g tall and a fire shrimp ate one. We tried them again in a 6g pico and they still were tough to spot. I would avoid.

As above kept a couple of these in a 15 litre tank with only one rock and a few corals. Just never saw them so pretty pointless fish unless you want to keep them in a floating breeding trap.

And i should just say that i love the smaller species, and reguarly keep them, so i'm not bashing them because i'm used to Tangs and flashy species like that. They are just too cryptic. You do get an appreciation for the divers skilled enough to find them though.

I ended up getting a panda goby, green banded goby and a red banded hi fin.

I used a piece of clear 1/2" tubing to suck up the panda goby and dropped it right on my pocillipora and there it stayed. The green banded keeps darting around the tank which of course grabs the anthias attention. So far all three are good.

Cute! They are pretty cool fish.
