Panther Grouper Lonely?

My large 12" panther grouper got moved to the fuge for fear of eating some smaller tank inhabitants that need to grow. I was wondering if they needed company like some other fish do. He seems OK eating and just resting on the bottom but just wanted to get others opinion. Thanks, Tim

A lot of fish are more activie if there are other fish placed in the tank. It brings out competition between the fish for food and terriorty. Just make sure it has good water movement as groupers need well oxygenated water and some can get stressed out and die from being placed in a small tank or container.

Most fish are fine by themselves specially if they have plenty to eat.

Since the refug is a 120gal tank they would be fine together but there probably isn't a need to give him company.
