Did a lot with this tank in the past month. I shut down the tank completely on November 2nd and then on November 4th I set the tank back up. I moved it to the wall across from where it used to be. It fits in the apartment a lot better than before.

I added about 10lbs more of live rock and I now have 2 Mp10wes. I also added a Tunze 9002 skimmer just last week.

Got some new pictures yet again. More top down shots to give a better idea of color on some of these pieces and the pictures aren't totally washed out in purple like with a FTS.

Here is the little overflow/fuge area. Overflow on the right where there is chaeto and carbon, then 2 filter pads and on the other end is the return pump.

wanting to order these lights long time ago, what kind of optics do you have on this? are they 120 or 165w? how much was it for changing optics thanks oh and were you able to grow sps with these lights?

How do the new lights compare to the bridgelux? I've got a mr aqua 25g cube coming here for Xmas and in the market for lights.

I am also looking forward to seeing how the tank looks grownout. I have a couple more frags to place on the rocks and then Ill be able to sit back and watch it grow.

I believe the optics on the OR fixture are 90 degree. I seem to have no problem with growing sps, just have to find the perfect spot for it to keep it happy.

I like this light a lot better than the bridgelux fixture I had before. With the spacing in the leds I get a lot better coverage over the whole tank, before just the center was blasted and the edges of the tank were dim.

Looks like Oceanrevive is having a sale on those fixtures for christmas.

I keep the carbon in a small filter bag and I lay it out underneath the chaeto.

The cherub and the wrasse have been awesome so far. They are both always out swimming around. The wrasse has adjusted to my light cycle and usually 20 minutes before the whites go off he disappears into the sand bed. Both are actively searching the rock work and aggressively eating any food I put into the tank.

I have been rearranging some of the frags again and trying to find more permanent spots on the rocks. Only a couple pieces left on the sand.

No dosing on my tank, just doing weekly water changes from 3-5 gallons.

I wanted to get a skimmer for a while. Have seen multiple systems of the same size and smaller successfully using one so I wanted to give it a shot. Took a while to find one that would work due to internal use and the overflow and returns that are in the way. It is producing nicely, just takes a while to get dialed in as it seems pretty touchy. Might be doing the airline mod for this model to try and help with that.
