Part of Mantle on Crocea is shriveling?

We have had this clam about 1 week and i have noticed a section of the left mantle retracting more and more over the days. It stays near or under the shell in that one part, but the rest is fully extended.

I have pH a little high at 8.3, KH at 130ppm and Ca at 380-400... i am unable to get my Calcium any higher for some reason... i have added half of the B-ionic bottle (480 mL total) and still cannot quite stay over 400.

Lighting T5Ho teklight with 6 4foot bulbs...

Suggestions?

Fish are one royal gramma and one small black clown... have a mithrax crab but doesnt seem to bother it...

RIght nowis on sandbed, moving it higher might help?

post a pic please and get your Mg tested (Mg can keep you from reaching the Ca/Alk you want) i wouldnt move the clam for now

How does one adjust magnesium... especially when the only way it got in is through my addatives? (B-ionic)

AFAIK b-ionic doesnt contain or add any Mg. if your Mg is low you will have a hard time raising and maintaining Ca/Alk.
