Path Mark R/O Water Question

I have a small tank, 25G. It's pretty stable. For the last 2 months my water changes and top off's have been done with supermarket bought gallons of reverse osmosis purified water (trekking out to my LSF with a 5 gallon jug to buy R/O water is a pain).

Is this a good thing to do? I haven't been dosing with water softener for these water changes...should I?

Is it labelled RO Drinking water or just RO? Most RO drinking waters have stuff added back in after treatment to make it taste good. You might be better off buying distilled water unless you can get RO water directly from a known source or machine.

It's R/O drinking water. So distilled water is fine to use?

Yes, its better than drinking water. Some wil try to tell you distilled contains copper but most commercial distillers use glass lined steel coils not copper.
