Ha Ha! Hey Mark. The bottom euro is going in next week, then the top euro the following. According to Derek at Miracles, it should be done the week of 2/13... which is a Friday! :eek2: Beyond that, I don't have any dates. I don't want to rush the man though. I told Derek to take as much time as he needs to complete. I've waited this long already, what's a couple/few weeks if that.

I'll be taggin along on this one for shizzle! I really like your dimensions, would have gone with them myself but I'm limited to the same minus two feet, 48x30x24...

Still should be nice I just wish it could be bigger NEXT TIME!

Those are still sweet dimensions. 30" is seeming borderline deep unless you have access from the back of the tank. Do you have your tank yet? Mine should be shipping soon.

BTW, I lost a female Pink Square to a mouth injury. She couldn't eat.

And I lost my Flagfin a few days ago too. I found him on his side on the bottom of the tank, wedged between a couple rocks. Either he did that before dying or he got stuck. Plus I think the male Pink Square did a number on him.

My tank is being built as we speak by Lee Mar. It's a flat polish with Euro-bracing and Starphire on the front and two sides. I've always wished I could have some depth to my tank and finally I'll have it!~

It's supposed to be ready for pick up around Mar. 4th I'm told, can't wait!!! I'm waiting just a bit longer, like next week I think(I have a bunch of equipment that arrives next week), and I'll begin my own build thread. There have been so many that were inspirational and very informative. Hopefully I'll be able to help someone else along the way maybe?

If you are like me it won't matter where that plasma tv went once that tank is up and running. I forgot I even had a plasma. I watch the tank more than the Tv. Better stuff on in the tank than on the Tv most the time anyway. Looking forward to see how this works out. I love watching what everyone else is building.

I've been watching little to no TV lately as is.

BTW, day two of breaking in my BK on a 75 QT.

I don't know. It came with the house. Honestly, it doesn't put out that much light. I'd look for something else if I were you.



I'm kidding. The 6' fixture is a Giesemann Spectra. They also make a DE fixture, which is called the Infinity. The nice thing about the Spectra is that you can switch out the MH ballasts. I'm starting with 250W SE, but can move up to 400W if I need to. I don't know whether or not you can do that with the Infinity.

I got my tank delivered and into my house safe last night. Thankfully some local reefers, my brother and a couple non-reefing frineds were there last minute to help. Here it is sitting in the junk... er, sun room.

Thanks Mark. I was nitpicking over some things this morning after getting a better look at the tank in natural sunlight. I spoke to the builder about them and feel better now. What bothered me the most was a 2" tall white mark in the black silicone.

I was told that it sometimes happens with GE silicone and should disappear once it's fully cured.

my old Miracles 120 starphire Rimless had that same prob. Didn't go away man. Sold it.

Bummer. I hope mine disappears. But if it doesn't, I can live with it. There's only one spot on the front left seam. It's ~ 2" tall and not too noticable.
