hey, very nice man... that tank is goin to be on the first floor correct? im ordering a 400 galloon as well, im thinking, it may be close to 6000 lbs to support.. are you adding support in the basement at all?

Thanks. Actually, my tank is ~ 240 gallons. I'm guessing total volume to be in the 400 gallon range.

I did support the floor with LVLs. I also have two steel beams in the floor and lally columns throughout. Photos are here:

If in doubt, you should definitely reinforce your floor.
