Pearlscale and Auriga Butterflies - what do they eat?

I have both fish in QT. The Auriga is eating Mysis and brine, the Pearlscale hasnt touched food. Its only been 2 days, but I was wondering what do they eat in the wild I could try.

Online research says algae, soft corals, and inverts. Also mentioned hanging out in staghorn coral colonies.

What corals might entice them to eat? Zoas, Euphyllia?

Just about anything. They have a quite a varied diet. That's one of the reasons they tend to do well in captivity. They love aiptasia. If you've got some rocks needing cleaned up, they'll probably be happy to help.

I've had both and they at mysis, brine and pellets. Didn't seem too picky after they were acclimated to my tank. Funny things happen to fish when it's feeding time. They forget that they're picky eaters :lmao:

My butterflies are more picky than my angels and tangs, but they still chow on mysis, frozen Angel and Butterfly cubes, and just about anything else.
My pearscale even lined up for a chance at the Nori clip the other day.

I guess I was a little unclear:) I meant "what do they eat in the wild"?

I re-ordered blackworms yesterday.

I will go find littlenecks tomorrow. Regal loves them anyway.

I put bloodworms in my seafood mix, but have never tried them by themselves.
