peeling anemone?

I have a bta... and shes evidently not the happiest. the longest shes staied in one spot was less than a week. I never doubted her helth until recently, shes getting stranger. with that said..

I thought I had 240 watts pc.. found out 2 days ago I really have 120 watts (!!!!) I have a 250 watt MH on the way. wont get it till mon, or tues tho. (plus all the light acclimation Ill hafta do before she actually gets the good light)

So Im pretty sure its the light thats giving her issues. The tank has been thru some down's but its been stable for about a month. Ive had her about 2 months

I tend to give alot of history... sorry.. My question is..

A few days ago she moved during the night and in the morning, she hadent planted her foot yet. there was a piece of skin (thin, and very small, like, a sheet of tissue no bigger than a quarter inch maybe) that was stuck to the rock next to her foot.

today. two of her tenicles have the appearence of shedding. there is skin hanging from the tenicle, the maroon hosting tryed to pick it off, but its attached to the tenicle.. looks like a string. but im pretty sure its her 'skin' the two tenicles look weird to.

so shes been moving every night. finding herself stuck in tight spaces. but i dont think its a sting from a coral, i only have 1 coral with tenicles, a candycane and its far away from where shes walking.

More help :(

my maroon has gotton into the habit of pulling the anemones poop away and then spitting it in another area of the tank (cleaning her i guess) but Ive noticed on 2 occasions the maroon spit out a single curlycue about 5 centimeters long that shes pulled from the anemones mouth. (i know, its the inside of the anemone. and i think the fish can reach it because the anemone opens its mouth so wide and shrinks so much) Is this killing the anemone? or is the anemone already dieing? (would the strings be accessable if the bta wasent going to spoit them out eventually anyway?

My only hope right now is this light i have comeing

btw... shes still very sticky, eatting well, has inflated normal tenicles

I think the BTA is in dire straits. It will likely no survive but its best chance (IMO) is if you segregate the maroon for the time being. It is doing damage and unless it stops the BTA has no chance.

They are actually pretty resiliant creatures and although it's in bad shape it might do OK once he is noone is tearing out its guts.

I have had two BTAs and come to the conclusion that the maroon was too rough for them. The first BTA was probably too small, which complicated matters. But the second one was nearly 8 inches across. I know there could be other factors, but this is my conclusion, so no more BTAs with my maroon :(.

heres a pic of it two days ago. I had it covered because its mouth was so gaping i wanted to keep the maroon out.... there was one lil crack.. fish found it within a minute and rubbed :(

here it is today. I was trying to get the funky tenicles but it dident come out clear enough. she looks fine like this all the time. but shes moving, and the fish stealing her guts, and the skin... mixed signals
