Penductor in a 25 Gallon

My closed loop is going to be 1200 GPH.
If I added a penductor to this would I be able to keep water in the tank or would it all just fly out the top onto the floor.

Should I just stick with 1200 gph out of 5 returns or try this penductor magic?

I did the calculations based on the pumps GPM based on the information on the KTH website.

14 GPM at 10 ft head = 2 penductors (probably a little underdriven)
1200GPH out of 2 outputs in a 25g (with the penductor multiplying flow 2x). This seems a little scary.

It looks like my closest pressure rated options are the Gen-X pumps. The 55HP secifically.

I'm looking at these pictures and am starting to think I don't need this much flow for such a small tank. 1200 gph on a CL would probably do it and add a penductor into the mix just might blow the skin off all my acros. o.O

penductors wont work for that small of a tank. way toooo much flow from one source. whatever is in front of it will gets ripped to shreads.

I would recommend against it. In my 58 is was pretty severe ... hard to avoid totally blasting laminar flow out of it.

IMO, too much for a tank your size. Heck, just 1200 gph in a 25 should be far more than plenty IMO - without more from the eductor.

1200 + a CSL. :D

Ok enough with the penductor business. It sounds like if i tried it I'd blow the glass down or catapault an coral/fish in its path out into the next room.

Thanks guys.
