peppermint safe wrasse (or other?) for amphipod control

Hi all,

I'm looking for a wrasse or some other fish which will annihilate amphipods but will not annihilate peppermint shrimp. I have a sixline for amphipod contropl in a zoa/paly tank and he ate the eyes off a peppermint within an hour of adding them. So now I flip flop them between two tanks for alternating aiptasia/amphipod control. Looking to modify my sump for polyp grow-out and I'd like a peppermint safe amphipod killer.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I've liked keeping yellow coris wrasse or x mas wrasse. your six line might not be happy with other wrasses around.

This fish will not be in the same tank as the six-line.

Mandarins are just too picky, and I'd prefer to be able to supplement its feeding after the amphipods are gone.

The yellow wrasse sounds good. Anybody have one with peppermints that they can vouch for?

Thanks!
