Peppermint Shrimp getting eaten

I purchased 6 Peppermint shrimp yesterday to take care of an aiptasia problem in my tank and my wife came running into the bedroom panicking because my Tangs and Wrasses were attacking and eating them the shrimp!

This expensive meal ended up costing me $60.00!

Anyway, does anyone out there have any suggestions the rid my tank of aiptasia. I used Joe's Juice before with moderate success, but the stuff makes me a little nervous.

either using kalk paste, or looking for those nudibranchs that eat it. sorry to hear you spent $60 on them though, try etropicals.com next time. if you spend $60 they'll ship for free and pepp shrimp are like $3 there

Wrasses like shrimp. My Sixline ate both of the peppermints I added.

Also next time try putting them in at night so the fish dont see them added. It should add a bit to the chances of them survuving. Pending the wrasses though, it may not matter.

Not all wrasses eat shirmp...my has never touched mine
