percula or oscillaris clowns?

Any chance I could get an opinion on my beautiful little pair of clowns? These two needed a home and I was under the impression they were oscillaris, but now I am not so sure. Hopefully my pics are clear enough!

I would say they're true perculas. You can tell by the eyes. Ocellaris eyes are almost all black while a real think red iris around the pupil, and true perculas-like yours, have smaller pupils with a larger red iris around them.

There is always a chance that they are ocellaris x percula hybrids, but that's not likely.

Those are 100% perculas. Absolutely no doubt.

I have 2 true percs in another tank and just noticed that these two little guys sure seem to be developing all the tell tale perc signs! Thank you all for your input.

I count 9 dorsal spines. True perculas usually have 9 spines. Ocellaris clowns usually have 11 dorsal spines. I have no doubt that they are just heavily miss barred true percula clowns.
