Percula won't host

My wild percula has no interest in hosting rose anemone that I bought for him a week ago. Does it this take a while?
He swims around the tank, but shows no interest in the anemone.

Entacmaea isn't a natural host for percula. It might take some time for the fish to figure this out.

Clowns will often accept host nems even if it's not natural host, and I'm sure yours will eventually, however I and many others have seen loss of black coloration from percs in BTAs.

daveocean, the clowns in your avatar (great pic by the way) are mostly orange and white, but I see a bit of black. Have you noticed a loss of black coloration in them yet?

To the OP, I agree with the above, and have a story: I had a pair of black and white clowns that wouldnt host either one of my 'nems that I put in the tank, but they LOVED my powerhead. Clowns have that name for a reason
