A pleasure indeed!
Looking forward to the new build, Perry!
Thanks Matt, new build complete, corals been settling for 2 weeks, and they are doing well, absorbing minerals, albeit lightly, I am not online with dosing yet, allowing the dkh to fall lower. Ironically, my 120 settled down, decided to just dose kalk for now, letting it just go basic, but will return to Probiotic method as I will be moving to more mixed.
It has been a pleasure Perry. I will be following your new thread too. You can still have high energy reef with sandy bottom. Just saying.
Hey Bulent, I have a MP40 running 90% in the 25 gallon lagoon, so sand not really an option

Thank you for all your support, I am excited again to work with new corals and bring more variety to the 120. The lagoon is jammed with all my goodies, and is doing very nice.
Ha! I'd say sounds like you got a keeper
I'm sad to see you pulled all the cherries but I will be very excited to see this new build!! Welcome to the smaller tank club!
Coming soon, I want to start a thread, but have been swamped, I am likely doing a video of it this Sunday, so hopefully then I will create a new journal, thanks Tim!
Can't wait to see your nano build. Thanks for the 120 thread.
Marty
Thanks Marty, I am hoping by Sunday, thank for following the 120, I will be shooting some pics of it soon, I am changing the lighting to LED and looking to put t5's on the lagoon with led. Right now I am using a high powered full spectrum led that is a prototype, more to come.
From an all sps tank, I too will miss it my friend, but I am going to put some crazy lps and zoas in there, mix it up and still have some massive SPS colonies to break things up, I am actually excited for both tanks, and a new office build coming too. Thank you!
Wow. Huge game change but enjoy the new changes. Every new step and phase in life is to be enjoyed. I look forward to seeing the new system with the focus on the stars of the show!
You will have yours hands full and your attention occupied while you learn what makes your new system happy. Some years back, I had a 10g high energy nano with sps. It was a balancing act for sure, but lots of fun. With your knowledge and attention to detail, I know the tank will be beautiful.
Good luck and I look forward to following along.
Kevin
Thank You Kevin! Yes, much change this year already, new job, new look, new diet, new look on life, and new build coming soon at the office. It will be a new series of tanks(Waterbox), Pacific Sun, Cove Skimmer, run with AF Probiotic method. Likely using new Athena for lighting, Kore 5th, Cove skimmer with Aquabee pump, not sure on sump, with AF Reactor, and AF all probiotic, with only the best corals. The lagoon I will try and get a thread going over the weekend. Thanks for following Kevin, the 120 is going to transition into something very special.
You are one of my go to guys for AF products Perry. Can't wait for that 25gallon and how it is going to look like and pretty sure I can learn lots more when that begins.
Cheers,
Riz

Yes my friend, running only Pro Bio F, and balling method for now, I will eventually start with Amino Mix, Energy, Vitality, and Build, but not until I see good mineral consumption, not looking to feed corals that are not building and settling, just wasted dosing and nutrient sink. 1 liter of Life Bio Fil, AF Carbon, and AF Phosphate Minus. I am dosing Pro Bio F every other day with one spoon mixed with tank water. I have 3 fish in there, so a low bio load for now, zero nutrients, not even a color change on nitrates or phosphates, so I am slowly increasing the bioload as to not starve the corals. Cheers my friend!
looking forward to your new build Perry.
Dom, sorry you caught my 120 at the tail end bro... But, I am still around, just busy as heck. Looking forward to your tank journal, take care man!
Wow Perry, can't wait to see the mini SPS tank.
Sorry for the Red Robin loss. The only reason I still have mine is dumb luck that I moved a frag to another tank just before I hit the rough patch. Once it decided to go it's gone.
Thank You So Much Mark! That fickle pickle caused me so much stress over the last few months, she is gone now, and took many with her, lol... It is cool, time for change, and looking forward to a mixed 120, and all out crazy acro tank. New build too, so I will do my best to check in, lol...
good luck with the new build, you definitely had one of the best tanks that I looked on to get ideas when I was building mine
Thanks Cody, I appreciate the kind words! Still around, but spread thin these days, hopefully I will have some new threads coming soon. Thanks again!
Well that has bummed my morning out a little

Not your glorious 120 my friend!! I have no doubt that the new incarnation of the 120 will be just as spectacular though and I seriously am looking forward to seeing your high energy 25! It'll be a stunner knowing you!
Congratulations on the new job and office though Perry! Wishing you all the best in your new endeavors for the year and that you and your family have a great 2017 with these changes!
Make sure you don't forget to update your buddies here though! I'll be sad and get Sahin to pester you on Facebook if you don't
Thanks Mate, You are so kind and have always been a regular around here, so I will do my best not to disappoint with the lagoon. Thanks for the nice wishes, and I hope you and your loved ones have an awesome year!!!
Perry your meant to go bigger not smaller!!!
I am Mate

Going from 1 sps tank to mixed 120, 25 lagoon, and 110 office build. Go big or go home right? Thanks Mate, hope all is well
Yeah Perry, you are going to be missed. Your tank has always inspired me when you post, and I have learned a few things from you as well, even though I don't always comment.
I am also just starting out in a new position at work and feel a little overwhelmed. I understand the need to regroup and hopefully you will be back later with something you can grow some massive colonies in.
Thank You So Much! I really appreciate your kind words, I feel very honored to have made some impact with other hobbyists, this is the best feeling, glad to have been an inspiration, truly nice of you to say
well i will be sad to see the 120 go. but understand it. i look forward to seeung the new one. i assume your going to keep full Af routines on it?
Hey Mike, not going as in gone, going as in new variety of corals, really just an excuse to keep Cindy engaged in the hobby, and for me to have a collectors tank full of goodies. Yes, will stick with full AF method, just for nanos though. Thanks again for checking on the journal!
