Pet Junction - Stow

i will order nice stuff alot cheeper and most likly not get rip off $1600 so you go to dans

If you choose not to shop at a store, that's your right as a consumer. However to accuse them of ripping people off is a pretty hefty accusation. I suggest you either post supporting details or refrain from comments such as this.

can i ask an off the wall question. who goes in there and says....you know what, i think i want a goat!

I've known several people that own goats. They can be trained like a dog would be, plus goats taste great;) I believe they were not for sale, they were the previous owners store pets. The place was to an extent a menagerie.

lol i didn't know they were the owners. i thought they were for sale like a bunny or something. I just laugh a little in my head when i think of that scenario. the daughter asks her mother...."MOM!?! can i have a goat?" lol

if i had the extra room i would have bought the alligator they have but what do you do with a gator in a few years when its 6 foot long and the neighbors dogs start coming up missing?

Are you talking about the one in the pond???

i dont think so. they had one in like a 40B (or something like that) over by the 2 displays infront of the cichlids. he was only like 1.5 feet long

yea they have one in what i belive is a 75 or so kinda hard to tell since its a turtle tank. they want like $300 or so for it and cant see my self spending that on an animal that i will have to donate to a zoo when it gets to big. but it would be cool to have i think i would name it chompers lol

Hmm back sales tax is not good . . . sounds like the new owners may not be doing so well. I wasn't aware it changed owners. Any chance they still have the two huge snakeheads?

Also I don't think the goats were for sale, I think they just kept them for fun/the kids who come in the store.

i just tend to think about the families of the staff there with the store closing this close to Christmas and knowing some of the staff fairly well. and wondering what will be under the tree Christmas morning for the one guys 4 kids and the other guys 2 kids. i have 3 kids myself and know how important it is to keep you kids happy

I agree this economy sucks and it's so sad to know that hardworking good people are struggling just to put a roof over their head and food on the table for their kids . . . let alone christmas presents under the tree

phone # is (330) 686-2235 - I called and it just kept ringing . . . I don't remember if they ever had a vm or not?

I used to go in just to see the snakeheads. The state came and took them when the new owners took over as I understand it. That fish is not to be sold in the U.S.
I do hope they stay open.

Really the state took the snakeheads? How stupid is that . . . those fish had been in the store for about 10 plus years and clearly were not for sale! I understand they need to be protective but stuff like that just ****es me off!!

From what I understand, the "sale" happened when the original owner sold the store to the new owner.
