Pet Warehouse's Prices on fish!

Next time you are in there getting dog food check out the prices. Let me give you an example of a few I remember.
Fox face $150.00
cleaner shrimp $50.00

Those are the only ones I can remember but I do know they had $200.00 tangs. Apparently they don't want to keep saltwater fish anymore! lol

theyre all like that. they werent making the profit that the big dogs wanted so they raised prices. live rock is $10/lb, everything went up at least 200%

Seems crazy...not even realistic pricing...I can't believe they think there going to sell anything. I would think it would do nothing but **** off their loyal customers.

I'd say Matt scared them w/his store and now they think they have a monopoly and don't consider John a true store. I remember when he opened a few of those PW turds came in and price shopped and they didn't know that Matt knew who they were, but he did work they and did know who they were and on their way out he called them out by name and they looked like ghosts. I was there and it was darn funny!!!!! Also, someone worked there that Matt and I knew and they were scared to death when he opened for their saltwater line. Oh well, looks like John will get more business and w/Troy opening that'll help out too. And of coarse, there's always the net. But seriously, I can't stop laughing at those prices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there about 3 weeks ago and they had the largest yellow tang I have ever seen for $25. Then 2 days ago he was priced at $150. Must be feeding him gold to keep him yellow!

i'm quite familiar with the general public opinion on pw's salt selection. however, kat, one of the assistants at the kearney store, is always ready to chat with someone, which i do appreciate. especially since ive spent maybe 10bucks in that place.

she said they will prolly pull it by the end of the year. whos going to pay these prices? she was quite apologetic

well, when all the PW employees kill all the stock, and they dont replace it because sales are down due to high prices, they will discontinue SW stuff all together... no one in their right mind is going to pay those prices..

Fish and i worked at PW and we thought the prices was high when we was there but i will be glad when troy opeans his store and us too but we will at lease get some customers because if PW I do not shop there no more and i spent several $$$$$$ a year and now they lost their money I can not speak for fish ,but i am glad they got rid of me they did me a favor

There price on coral is still the same price for now. (they had 5 heads of green ricordia for $30.00) I can't wait for troy and fishs place to be open. That should help us. John's place is still fun to look at but he really didn't help me when I was starting. You know what is funny is that pet warehouse said they are still buying all of the fish for the same price. What a killing they must be making if they sell anything.
