PETCO 1.00 gallon sale... ???

I actually prefer glass for sumps 18"+ in width. Something to consider depending upon application.

Not necessarily just overtime, but if the difference in height of the baffles is too much the plexiglas has too much flexion to stand up to 18"+ width. Just my preference to use glass for 40b or 75g sumps. ;)

I used plexiglas for my 40B and it's definitely bowing. I'm thinking of redoing the baffles because I want the design to be a little different.

Which is why glass would be the way to go for 18"+ applications... ;) Good luck getting that cured silicone off though... That will be a PITA...

anyone know where to buy get glass at at i guess 1/4 in size for baffles. cut and sanded edges? also a approx cost for them. or if any of you guys work in a glass shop. thx

i would like to do my sump like a eshopps model r-100,but i dont see spending 200 bones for just a acrylic box with baffles? seems alot of money for something that doesn't cost alot to make..ya know. so thats why I want to do my own. and spend the extra on a lifereef overflow cause of the reviews and alot of folks saying if you got to do a HOB overflow, lifereef is the way to go.

Eh...it's not THAT bad. I'm just going to let it bow. When it dumps, I'll redo it then. No big deal.

I am hearing rumors that this starts June 24th. Anyone confirm this?

I heard the exact same thing on the nano forums , also I called yesterday, and they said to call them Sunday cause they have some sorta sale going on but they are not sure of what is on sale yet. Fingers crossed ,
