It's almost worth going and grabbing a 40 breeder just to have one. Those seem to be the first to go once the word gets out.

I called the East Syracuse store to confirm it's a go. Got a 40b there during the summer sale. Such a nice tank.

Right. 20g tank = $20. 40g tank = $40. 55 = 55... but 55g is the highest they carry in store for that price. It was unclear if they could/would order a bigger tank at the sale price, but they definitely don't carry larger ones for those prices.

I was out and bought a 29gallon today for my QT in north syracuse. They were all out of the 40b and said it would be a bit before they got more. Also, said that 55 was the largest and would not order larger tanks. Nasty care of their fish in that store!

Got a 40 breeder from the Dewitt store for the sump of my new 75 gal DT. 40 bucks. There were a couple more when I grabbed it. It's a good day.

Haha I am the reason petco only sells breeders and standard tank sizes....like the first year they had the $1 per gallon sale I was running all over to all the petcos and buying a lot of 55gal and 20 gal. I had a lot of freshwater tanks going at the time and was breeding a lot of fish. I went to the store on niagara falls blvd to get another 55 and there it was a 39g oceanic cube tank with glass top....(this is before they started to specify the tanks that were in the sale, and all the ad said was all tanks $1 per gallon)....and guess who has a 39 gallon cube now with glass top....that he only paid 39 dollars for? This guy right here haha...a 300 dollar tank for 39 bucks....hell yea!
