Not as good as I want. One of them deflated briefly last nigh. They spew out a bunch of zooxanthalae last night. I have not seem them today yet. Was not able to take a picture this AM. I hope I don't come home with three deflated anemones.
Ship what?
I have to get them to live first, and get healthy.
This afternoon, two of them look good and the third have an open mouth but no deflating and no cloudy water. I took a picture with my cell phone and will try to post it in a minute.
I was kidding! Though I have confidence that you will get these healthy.
The last of my 4 babies is holding on but never fully inflates. I've had it for three months so I have no idea what's wrong. I haven't decided whether I want to treat it yet. I'm going to carefully watch yours to see if they act similarly.
Pictures this AM. They are doing OK but not as well as my previous Petco Gigantea. All three anemone were well last 24 hrs. Mild contraction overnight but no deflation. All well attached and take fairly strong current without problem.
This group I treated with one Septra DS per 10 gal of water and do 100% water change every day. So far I have not change more than once a day.
I moved the screen from one end to the other end of the aquarium. The anemones stay put where they attached. I also crank up the VorTech MP10 to about 75% on Reefcrest mode. They tolerate the flow OK with no problem.
I've never seen a gig at Petco. I have seen a few haddoni.
Maybe I could special order? But likely would get haddoni.
Your newest nems are looking good so far.
We will have to start calling you the gig whisperer.

I've talked to a Petco manager about this. They get carpet anemones as "assorted". So they stock whatever is sent to them by their warehouse with no regard to haddoni/gig distinction. And different stores in the same area will use different warehouses/suppliers.
They actually can order from various wholesalers. I talk to the salt water manager at the store here in Corpus Christi. Right now I am up to my neck in Gigantea. I have to get rid of some before I can get some more.
They are in my QT since last night. All attached and looking OK. If there is no deflation this PM I will start feeding them. Will need to do water change in the QT and remove some of the algae also. I really let the Macro algae run a muck in the QT.
I can see all three Gigs. They should all get the light they needed. One was partially bleached with treatment but the other two are lighter. All should recover without problem.
Recap on this treatment:
Septra DS one tablet for 10 gal with daily water change for 7 days. Treatment stop at exactly at 7 days within the hour.
My last update on this group. All three are doing well in my QT with the partially bleached Gigantea not as well as the other two. This is expected. I expect them to continue to recover and improve and grow.
Pictures I took at noon today. I think there is a green one of the three that will be special.
