PetCo has tanks on sale $1 a gallon

I saw an add in this mornings paper that PetCo is selling tanks for a dollar a gallon (10 - 55 only, no bowfronts, etc). The picture shows All Glass logos.

Just thought I'd pass it along.

Great, I'm looking for a QT, would probably be the same $ as a used tank (except for a free one on Craig's list).

BTW... what type of filters or powerheads would you use for a QT?

depending on the size, I plan on doing a 10g QT and IM just gonna use one of those mini HOB filters

just keep the filter pads sitting in your sump and when you have a fish to QT, grab it from the sump and put it in the filter and start it up and you'll have all y our bacteria needs satisfied

I went to the petcos around chesterfield trying to score a 30 cube, but no dice, they were all gone...pretty much all that was left were 20H, 20L, 29, and 10's

oh well, maybe next time

Picked up a 40 breeder for $40 today. Regularly $99. Score! This was at the Cape Girardeau store btw.

they are being real pains with all the st charles stores.. i found 2 40 exl hex at the store at cave springs and was told no way would it ring up 40 and they refused to try ... and went back to work called around and the store in olivette had on they checked it and it rang up right ... so i got one of those... i was really after the 33 gallon cube
