hi there just wondering if some one here live close by petco in memphis TN.
and how this store are? thank

The one on Poplar is decent with a small salt water area. I would not recommend their fish, they all look pretty bad..

If you are buying fish, then you should look at Kermit's Reef and Memfish. Kermit's carries saltwater fish and has a very good quarantine procedure before putting them out in the display tank. Memfish carries saltwater and freshwater fish. The links below have their contact information.

dont waist you time at petco, all fish and corals that they get are not properly kept or treated.

Rick at petco is a really good guy. I try and get him to get me equipment when he can but have had problems with his fish. I have another friend who works in the fish section and she told me that their corporate has everything screwed. So he has to follow their pathetic guidelines as in all kent marine and all organic. Its kinda sad when fish die due to corporate rules. Remember, any corporate store will treat animals as product and not pets. Any of you want to invest in a store for rick I'm sure he'd give Kermits and memfish a run for their money but petco kinda ****es me off. However like I said the rick is cool just petco not so much.
