$1 a gallon on all 20H, 20L, 29, 40B, and 55gal rectangle AGA tanks.

Started this morning and the Petco in Bellevue as maybe 1 40B left... can't imagine where all the others went... lol

Dude. You can pump water from the bottom one to the top one and slightly angle them to spill over to the aqurium just below. You'd have a 4 level reef waterfall :lol:

I just went to the one in hermitage. I was disapointed that the 22 gallon cube was not included. I almost got a 20H but decided against it.

Yeah, the one here in Bellevue had a 22gal cube also... but they thought ahead this time and didn't include all tanks. I heard the last sale extended to 75gals... which would have been awesome.

Its all good. I told you I wouldnt come out on your end of town. Id let you keep your 40,s. The cashier looked at me kinda crazy when I came up there with the tanks. Lmk if yall get a blonde naso out there this week.

Will do. I work there Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I'm there for shipments.

There was no beating me to the tank though... got up early and was waiting outside the doors at 9:30. Now that I have the tanks, the fun part begins... ... gotta spend this week drilling the holes and making overflows.

I hit up the one in my area today. Did they make you guys pay the original sales tax? ie. I bought 2 40s and a 20 totaling 100 bux before taxes. I had to pay 22 bux in taxes. I argued about it, but lost. It seemed odd...anyone else?

yea...thats pretty odd....i thought sales tax come according to the price you pay.....not the price you would have paid if it wasnt on sale....

but anywho...is this sale still going on?

angelas, 40s are just good, shallow frag tanks IMO. With that said, I thinkI'd like a 40 as a display as well.

They got me for the 22 dollars in tax to. I argued as well but it didnt do any good.
I like the 40,s for a frag tank plus it may come in handy when its time to do some trading.

You also pay sales tax on a manufacture's coupon so basically you are being taxed on the money you saved. Trust me I argued for 15 minutes at Babies-R-Us about it. I bought a stroller and had to pay $8 on my discount.

same thing in the car business.. you pay taxes on a rebate.

but with this not being a real rebate and just a discount it sounds kinda shady to me

When you get a discount on a car you don't still pay taxes on the MSRP.

Well, they could be considering it an instant rebate, no? I'm sure that legally they have to tax you or it wouldn't make sense to **** off their customers by making them pay it. I would also doubt it to be shady dealings if they are charging tax to everyone at all of the locations.
