Wow! I wish I had half that much stuff to photograph in my tank. Looks great!

that's it for now. Not much else to report other then colors are looking better all the time.

I think my ozone generator is dead so I'm contemplating buying another one off ebay. I didn't run a dryer and I think the moisture got to it.

I'm planning on taking a look at Marc's tank tomorrow, and stopping by a really nice (but to small) local fish store by his home, so hopefully I'll come back with a frag or two :)

I've been tweaking my skimmer more then usual, I suspect it's the lack of Ozone and extra feeding causing it to gunk up more then usual.

I'll be doing my routine water change and mojano feeding this weekend and will also be checking all the normal parameters :uzi:

Marc is banking some frags in my tank so I drove down to see his tank (beautiful as usual) and to pick them up

here they are after dipping, cleaning, mounting, pegging and placing them in the tank. The pictures are not the best and were taken with just my 400w 10k's on (no atinics)

That Chips is definitelty one of my favourites, Pete. Reminds me of Mint Chocolate Chip :D.
Nice new frags too, Usually when someone mentions frag I think one little Acro branch but I see Marc's been very generous.

thanks guys

here are some better pictures of Marc's frags

I'll get the others later (I needed to recharge my battery)

Psteeleb, lol, I just now grocked that it's your youtube video that I watch now and again. I watched it last night as a matter of fact.
You have really beautiful corals.

do you have any trouble keeping the sps and lps together?

By the looks of it i'd say no! Looks wonderful!

thank you

no real issues with LPS more so with softies as they both sting and use chemical warfare. I actually intend to eventually have a wall of LPS (frog spawn, hammer, candies, etc) around the bottom third of the tank to keep the softies from working their way up into my SPS zones.

thanks - most of those vids are taken with my still camera as they are easy to transfer to the PC but on the flip side they usually are not in the best focus (but with utube that doesn't mater much)

One day I want to take a nice vid of the tank without the window reflections and have some nice zoom in areas (but one day always seems to elude me)

I hate saving frags

I hate saving frags

The Monte frag I got from Marc got knocked down, so I tried to pick it up and it got swished away under a rock, arrgg

So I pick up the rock to get the frag, no problem yet. But in the process of taking it out I knock over my main Blue tort colony, it falls to the bottom of the tank.

I'm holding this rock in the tank and checking the blue tort for damage (like I can do anything about it) and while looking at the tort I knock over my birds next. Arrrrgggg.

I pull the rock out, next the birds nest as its still reachable by hand and proceed to get the miniscule Monte plate. Fetched.

So now I putting the rock back in but it's not fitting right. I go around to the front of the tank to take a look and the rock is on top of my Greg Hiller Aqua Delight I got from MakoJ, Arrrrrgggggg :furious:

Two branches are broken off the Aqua Delight and have fallen into a deep unreachable ravine that may as well be the Mariana's trench. AAAAAARRRRRGGGG. :furious:

I eventually get the rock back, made a nice frag of the GBN and the Blue Tort is essentially unharmed (maybe a coralite or two)

All frags and coral are back in place and I'm thinking should I take a turkey blaster to the Mariana's trench and try to flush out the frags of aqua delight..... maybe tomorrow, the lights just went out :mad2:

I would have just said; don't you hate breaking a coral when trying to save a frag.... but I know Marc loves to read saga's

Owie, that hurt just reading it all. Glad you got almost everything back in place. If you were Mr. Limpet, you could just ask for a little help from your fishy friends. :fun4:

  haha "Mr Limpet" that was one of my favorite movies about a hundred years ago. Don Knots as the "Wonderful Mr Limpet", fish tank geek, falls into the ocean, turns into a fish and becomes a navy hero. Marc - you must be old as dirt to remember that movie, or did you catch it on the movie classics
