Great news, the 20% discount on livestock is NOW PERMANENT for LIRA members the 10% is for dry goods.

on a side note: I dont know if everybody knows you can order dry goods online & pick it up in the store after they confirm via phone call/email. I have found the price to be cheaper on line than when your just getting it off the shelf in the store, Gus actually told me about this & has saved me a bunch when I get frozen foods. only thing I regret is wish I had known sooner

Definitely worth a look. I was down there this w/e and picked up a nice mushroom and a favia frag using the discount. There were other interesting pieces of coral and livestock too...

love PWH! they've done a great job getting their frag tank looking good and they're stocking has been amazing. i picked up a potters angel last week and its healthy, no problems. i love the hedgehog i bought from them too! Brad always helps me out, hes a good guy.

I talked to Andy, he said the new system is coming soon, there was a change in the design hense the delay, maybe 2 weeks.

Did you guys see the email alerts you can sign up for promos and new shipments?

I don't mean to be a party pooper here but I also mentioned about the 20% live stock discount to the cashier. And she gave me a look like Ihad to heads. Maybe they should contact LIRA through their website and get something officailly posted. Buy the way since Andy (a LIRA member)took over the coral section nothing ever look better! Way to go ANDY!

Got to say that although they are giving a 20% discount, (I was there this past weekend), it does appear that they raised the livestock prices as well, (compared to 4 wks ago).

hummm...that would be an interesting tactic since the 20% only applies to a few LIRA members.

Could it be that their costs went given that fuel costs are through the roof?

btw, the $25 post-it on the frag tank has been there for weeks now so at least that didn't go up.

There prices do change - don't know why but I have purchased a male blue throated trigger there for about $30 only to. See another the same size two weeks later for over $50 like everything you have to be there at the right time

They told me that it depends on the country they come from and if they get a lot of boxes the costs per box is lower due to air line discounts.

Just a heads up if you want powder blues and blood shrimps, also there had to be over 100 cleaner shrimps.
