PFO 400W DE HQI Pendant Package Deal

I couldn't find much information and usage feedback on this setup. All I could find is from around 2004 where 400W DE pendants were being introduced. Any recent experience with these? How reliable are the bulbs, and what are the bulb choices? I am assuming the package deal on your site has all PFO components (including bulb, ballast and 400W DE reflector). Could you comment on this product package deal?

Will this system work with 400W DE bulbs Hamilton 10K, 14K, Coralvue 10K and 20K?

Hi Max,

The 400 DE's have actually been pretty reliable and put out a nice light as long as you run them in a good pendant. The IceCap and PFO pendants being the best two out there. There is not much bulb selection though, only the 10k and 20k Coralvue's and Krystal Star's, which are really the same exact lamp just under two different names.

If you decide to go with the IceCap setup you would be limited to the IceCap lamps, as they have a longer bulb than the others on the market.

The PFO setup we are selling comes with all PFO components, etc. If you have any questions please let me know.
