pH probe went for a swim

Like the title says my pH probe on my cal reactor fell in the sump for a few seconds and is now stuck at 6.28. Didn't have a chance to do much with it this morning.
Is it toasted because it was submerged?

Nope. You probably broke/cracked the glass bulb on the end. Submerging won't kill them. At least it's never killed mine.

If they're refillable probes and the hole is open and you get saltwater in the reference cell then it is toast. If that didn't happen then probably you're OK.

Well I did what you do when you don't know what to do. Before I left for work I wiggled the wire around. This seemed to snap it out of what ever state it was in? What's strange is it hung at 6.28 for six hours with the co2 on. While I am new to the cal reactor thing I know my reactor will drive it down lower than that, my set points are 6.25 and 6.5.
The reactor is back on and pH going down, I'm curious to see what happens.

In watching the reactor and pH all night I think I had the co2 flow set to low and the out flow set to high, I changed the out flow of the reactor last night and the pH could not reach the low set point to turn off. Not sure it was a probe problem. I shut the solenoid off which probably caused the pH to rise not wiggling the wire...

Might be a good idea to calibrate the probe. You'll know for sure that way.

I did, it's all good. I also thought it might be some weird Apex glitch, hopefully that wasn't the case and it was the low CO2 flow.
