photo cell on the tunze multi controller 7095 is not working

You have to send the controller in Roger or Rodney can remove the sensor and weld the replacement sensor in for you as the sensor permanently attach to the controller.

Make sure your sensor is clean, free from salt build up. If your sensor is new make sure the night mode indicator light is on for it to be able to work....

Also just an FYI incase this migh be the problem. The night mode turns the controller to the flow speed setting of the bottom two speed dials. If you have the dials set so that the lower dial is the high speed setting of your pattern then the nightmode will activate the "top" speed

I notice you are in Singapore. I am not sure who does the warranty work for that country but Monday roger will respond

Not very often unless your sensor getting lots of moist. My controller is 3+ yrs old without any issue with the moonlight...

chercm, what does not work? The photocell or the moonlight? You would send it in to Tunze in Germany for repair.

Ok, likely water entered and shorted the moonlight, we changed the assembly to make it more water resistant. If you can solder they can likely send you the part, otherwise it would need to be sent to Germany for repair, Tunze Australia may also be able to do it, I could do it also but shipping is probably more expensive.

It is more than 2 years old? Can you write to the factory in Germany from the website, the electrician should be able to arrange sending you this part if you can solder.

The part is $28.12. Normally we have a flat non warranty repair fee of $25 that includes shipping within the US. I would do it for $10 + shipping to Singapore. I am out of the LED/photocell part but I hope to get a couple more in my last shipment of the year. We just shipped our last two to a customer in Taiwan last week who had a similar problem.

Roger what happens if i need you solder for me ?

would u let me know how much is the pcb if in charge i need to replace it ?

For $38.12 plus shipping I will solder it for you, the board is expensive, I don't know for sure but I know it costs over $100 just to produce so it is not cheap.

We could do paypal. This part is easy to solder if you have the right equipment. You must have a needle tip and a fairly hot iron. The goal is to work quickly so you don't overheat the board. I use a Hakko 836 with a .5mm needle tip and a temp of 450 C. Make a note of the wire colors, just hold the tip to the solder, pull up the wire and work down the row. Then just do the opposite for reassembly. Main points are be sure to discharge any static electricity, I assume Singapore is probably humid so not a big issue, use a fine tip and make sure it is hot, don't hold the tip at a solder point for to long. .2-.5mm tip would be ideal. If you are doing it yourself it is only $28.12 plus shipping the part which I would need to get an estimate.
