I sorta thought i was the only one, and it was just a coicedence, but Viruses are floating around Photobucket!

I was on the Photography forum, and saw someone else got a virus on photobucket.

It contains Antivirus 360, which is currently the worst virus ever.
If anyone recieves the popups for A360 or Antivirus 360, you got the virus and DONT BUY IT!

It is designed to drain your credit accout after putting in your number to buy the software. In other words, DO NOT BUY IT!

I strongly suggest you find a different image host for now.

wow i just downloaded a bunch of pictures for the first time ever on photobucket TODAY ! guess what i'm leaving that place alone didn't need it don't want it !

Ya I had it come up too and it looks official and like windows is initiating it and It dosn't want to let go intill you buy it. I had to go to task manager to close it . and then remove it from the start up menu.

I still use www.imageshack.us for most of my stuff but it will probably come around to all of the hosting sites eventually.

Its not really deleted,,,it's might still exist in your files(Idid the same thing)
Is it blocking all the links that you click on???

If you don't already, you should have Spybot search and destroy with the tea-timer running. A good anti-virus, and anti-malware ( http://majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html )program will help keep your ship tight. If you think you have been infected you can download http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis and then go online to any website like http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.html then sign up and ask for help. It might take some time, but they will help you.

"Malware" is what the dude used, he just finished cleaning everything off my computer.

I got it to. I didn't buy but i couldn't access any of my photobucket i found the file under documents and settings, deleted it and cleaned my cookies seams to be working fine now.

Well tell me if your able to view photobucket pics or even going on site, are they blocked??

Our desktop got it. I tried to close out the window and it somehow still installed itself.....As soon as I have a few hours to kill I'm going to reformat.....I haven't been able to find a fix
