Hello reefers,

Not sure of this is the right place for this ( was actually surprised with all the options ). In the market to upgrade my LPS 24g nano DT and wanted some advice. The tank is about 17" X 16" X 15" I would love to grow a few sps in the future. My prices rang is 400

Any advice would be great.

Is that 400 for everything or just the tank. If it is for everything what equipment do you have now that could transfer over to the tank.

Sorry for not being clean. I currently have a nano up and running. It's been running 3, 12" trueman pro LED and I hate them.

Is this a biocube with a hood or tank with open top? With your price range n tank dimension, i would go with an AI hydra 26hd. You can also continue to use it if you decide to upgrade your tank in the future.

It does have a hood. I accepted the fact that the hood is going to be removed. It played a huge roll in selecting the Trueman Pro. That was before I learned the importance of Par penetration.

You like the 26 hd over the photo v2?
I'll read up on them now.

I do like the idea of being able to upgrade with them. Although, I have seen a few systems running the V2 and later on upgradeing with their T5 add on.
