I have a phytoplankton culture going that has been ok for a few weeks. I used liquid miracle grow after following another persons tutorial. All is well however I have been reading about the miracle gro containing metals that are or could be harmful to my reef tank such as copper!
I am wondering if any one has had an issue using miracle gro and if I should start using something else.
I am thinking about ordering Micro Algae Grow. I am curious though how efficient it will be. I live in Indiana and have to order it from http://florida-aqua-farms.com/shop/micro-algae-grow/
If I get the 8.5oz bottle how long can I expect it to last. What amount should I add to a 2 liter bottle and how often? I understand that it will depend on my harvesting habits but I have never done anything like this and I am open to any advise.
