It's been a while and I've got a new lens coming in soon, so I am holding on to only a few things to blame. These aren't the greatest, but without a tripod, I get a ton of camera shake.

Fishies. Here are some of the clowns from Matt.

See spot swim. I couldn't resist on some leopard wrasses (was supposed to get some bipartitus, too, but only got meleagris). I didn;t realize these guys can get so big... The big ones stayed in the sand for 8 days before coming out. I've got a large and small in each the 120 and 125 (haven't seen the big guy in the 120 in a few days...).

Oh yeah. There are no tulip anemones, bubble alage, hair algae, or Aiptasia. It is all a filament of your figmentation. Everyone is happy and colorful, so I'm not too concerned yet, but I'm hoping that finishing the tank room will help get some of this under control. The algae gives pods plenty of places to hide for the wrasses to pick off, so I'm trying a life of bliss through imposed ignorance.

Here my solarensis hanging out in front of the left overs from the frag swap. With the leopard wrasses, I have to keep the sand bed clear, so hanging made the most sense...

Now I want a leopard wrasse - they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! That aquamarine tort is growing all crazy-like at the bottom. Do they all do that?

You've got some really nice pieces in there. If you have to start over, do it right from the get-go, huh?

Thanks Gary... now I'm going to have to buy a leopard wrasse (twisting my arm...). I have some duncs that look eerily familiar to yours... definitely one of my new favorites. And finally... good luck keep the sandbed clear... all that extra space is going to be awfully tempting

looks like you are rebounding very well Gary! Everything looks great! I have been looking for some blastos just like yours for awhile. Good to see all is getting back into the swing for you. Still miss u here in Middle Tn though.

Thanks everybody. I've bought out a few tanks, which have given me some nice stuff. I bought out a 360 that cracked (a guy down here near Montgomery-Growurown-still has some nice equipment for sale, I think-got a lot of nice stuff from him). Had to let it start coloring back up (he had to move them to his sump in a hurry, so in just a few days, they started to lose color). Didn't take long to see that I got some nice stuff, though. got some more exotic stuff form a local reefer. Took out a loan for those... Had to have them, though. I need to clean the tanks out (pull as much algae as possible, etc.). I've been on the go a lot lately, so I've only been keeping status quo and not continually improving...

I paid a pretty penny for those. They are better than I expected, though, so I'm happy. I've paid a bit more for just about everythign I've gotten from the LFS down here, but he has some nice stuff. He carries a lot of ORA acros, but they are pricy... I think they are similar to online prices (the nicer ones are $75-100), but a far cry from local frags.

Here's the big meleagris in the 125.

Here is one I haven't ID'd yet. It was in the sand for four weeks and just came out earlier this week. The big meleagris has been bullying it, but not too bad. It only stays out for an hour or so right now.

C. solarensis (slighly beter shot than before).

A couple of gobies I got from Mimi.

Here are some Palythoa's. These are what I always thought of as paly's before being educated. Not much color to them (which is likely why you don;t see them all that often), but stereotypical growth form of the old school Paly sp. train of thought. Size is not a factor, as many think. These are much smaller than any PE type zoa.

Hey now. I can't claim all the bubble algae in the world... I don't have any in the 120, but the 125 is loaded with it. Must be high nutrient because the acros are losing color, too. I'm going to start putting a little kalk in the top off water and see what that does. What I find interesting about algae is that different types (especially macros) just pop up when the conditions are right. I've had several different types that I hadn't seen in five or six years pop up after the move. Waiting to see what is invasive and what isn't. I was hoping the Tomini would get interested. He eats hair and nibbles on razor caulerpa, but not much on anything. I always get the lazy ones...

Lindsey-I'm feeling bad for having such big fish in such small tanks... I didn't realize leopards got this freakin big. I don't feel as bad on the 125 since it is 6 feet long, but the 120 seems too short. Sympathy has worked in the past for larger tank justification. Once I get everything set up in the tank room (likely still 6 months down the road, but trying to finish this year), maybe I'll see where I am.

I was just about to make a post about algae comin' out of no where. I had a GSP rock, first coral I bought 2 years ago. I moved it to my 10 gal. a couple weeks ago and noticed what looked like a green feather growin' from it. The rock is now covered with feather caulerpa and looks pretty cool. But never showed any sign when in my 20.
