They are usually more of a greyish white and pull that blue color from the lighting.

I like those polyps, they hold the color of the lighting quite well. If thats the actual color, can I get a frag when you get a few more =].

But yeah not much, especially if its just one polyp. a few bucks.

I think it looks pretty cool. It looks blue to me. What lighting is it under? tkeracer619 is right though, I've seen a lot of paly's that are actually white but look blue under high kelvin lighting. But if you are running 20K's then it will look cool.

it is actually more blue / purple(outer ring inside the skirt) then that when i look at it in the tank. it is under 2 96w power compacts, blue and 50/50. so there is more blue light, but it actually looks washed out in the photo.

These palys are almost always found in association with RADE and those color are commonly found. If my experience with them holds true, the color will morph after being in captivity for a while, to what just depends on the lighting intensity and water conditions.

my mistake.. it is a protopalythoa. it still has its blue colour but it has got more tan on the fringe/skirt and underneath, but looks like the last pic still.

I agree with the protopaly. If your running pc's it should keep that blue color. Under more intense lighting it will probably washout or turn biege.
