Pic of SPS from my 275

Thanks for all the PM's RC!

I would just like to take this opportunity to clarify a couple things:

1. Yes I have frags of many of the pieces you see illustrated.
2. Yes I ship across Canada.
3. I encourange pick-up, PM me and plan a time to come by.
4. I am located in Canada and I do not ship internationally. No exceptions.

Just wanted to clarify. Thanks. Dave

So if I rent a mailbox at Mail boxes etc. in Canada and then have them forward a package to me by overnight delivery would that be a violation of the "no exceptions" regarding international shipping?

Just trying to think outside the box.

Ken

I appreciate and encourange thinking outsite the box, because hey if everyone is thinking the same way, then clearly someone isn't thinking.

That being said, both personally and professionally I am not willing to accept the risk and possible repercussions (Federal!!!) associated with shipping outside Canada............despite the fact I know others in Canada have done it. I will be honest, I would like the money to cover my eletricitiry costs and the higher costs associated with getting the premium stuff here in Toronto!). I spend almost $500 on zoas today..............

Honestly, I see a ton of wild stuff in the US, specially the designer LE corals. I would focus on getting these in my tank, at least from what I see here on RC.

Cheers,
Dave

Thanks. Yup, just replaced all the halides with Radiums again. Actually, one of them cracked and I replaced it with a 20K XM. Will run them 2 radiums and 1 XM for a year and see if there is any difference.

Looks great! Are you still using Radiums?

Hey! You gotta go for a ride in it before you say that :)

Now all you need is a decent car hey!!! hahahahaha j/k

Thanks - makes the appearance of the new mustangs look wicked. LCD - not for my basement. Will be nice and dark down there - essentially set-up just for home theater. Never been a fan of LCD, images are always so bright and the lack of black contrast always bugged me.

Nice rims....

I'm sure you mean 50" LCD

+1 on the LCD thing.... I think I am going with the new slim line DLP by Samsung for my next TV... unless a newer technology comes out between now and then...LOL

LCD picture is nicer, I have both but My 50" samsung LCD Crapped out after 4 months of use ???? Got rid of that pos quickly.

Anyways. 250G amazing tank as usual. Well built tank.

-1 on LCD.
+1 on panasonic plasma. Have used both and for video games and movies nothing beats a plasma. And the prices arent that much higher anymore.

Thanks! Not a big fan of dosing, find I never do it regularly, and I also subscribe to the theory that if you can not test for it, best not to dose it.

My recipe/dose regime is as follows:

1. Stong lighting - 400W 20K
2. Stable alk (9DKH) and stable Calcium (420ppm)
3. Magnessium (zeo media in the Ca Reactor and Kent Liquid) to keep my MG above 1350
4. Enough flow to keep the "stuff" from settling.
5. My 8 stage RODI unit also helps make sure the top off water is of high quality.

hey just wanted to pop in and say wow looking better than ever.

also can you share what you dose with us.

I was thinking Panasonic myself for the plasma. Really because I can not justify the additional cost of the Pioneer Elite. LCD are cheap to build, problem is that when you manufacture them, if one pixel is out then the entire screen is garbage. Good thing, there are no drawback to the plasma except energy consumption............and with 2000W of light over my fishtank and my other circuit running a cintinuous 16amps, well I am sure I will not even notice a difference.

Storage - need access to the fuse panel and the trap/piping for the kitchen sink upstairs. Likely recycling containers also.

The space in this area will also be used to store my stereo receiver, blue-ray, HD receiver etc. Behind the wall, remote, nice in clean in front of the TV. Hate all those light distracting me from the TV - only speakers will be visible.

What is the space where the wheels are, going to be used for?

See below. My baby (before the wicked wheels) :)

From what i have read and heard pioneer comes a very close second to panasonic in plasma displays.

I havent had enough viewing time on a pioneer to say if it is better or not.
