That being said I don't think you can have every SPS in the tank looking it's best under the same conditions, some prefer less nutrients, some prefer more for optimal colour.

maybe i've been doing something wrong over the years, but i've found that bright blues and deep purples like two opposite ends of the nutrient-load spectrum
most tanks have corals from lagoons, back slopes, and reef crests all in one box... most have collections from different geographies and even different oceans
hard to make all of those guys happy under the same conditions
