Hello,

I have had a pair of ORA premium Snowflake clowns for over 3 years. about a 4 months ago my male went missing from tank. I'm looking to add another juvi clownfish to tank for female. was wondering if I could pair up with a Picasso Percula ?

my female is close to 3"

My lfs' show tank has a black ice and a regular percula that are bonded. I'd say so

Should be fine as far as mixing percs w/ occs, as long as the female accepts it and that could be refused regardless of which you choose, so intro in a specimen container or breeder cup to observe first to be safe.

im kinda worried she might not want a mate lol, she bites the hell out of me when i put my hand in the tank...

Mixing cross species is harder for the little guy. I think the signal does not quite matched so the female most likely does not always stop when she should IME. Prepare to separate the two if needed. Best to let them see each other for a week or so before put them together.

That's pretty common, it sees you as an intruder, but many have mixed occs w/ percs w/out issues
