picasso trigger with white ovals behind gills?

I have a picasso trigger. About two inches long and it has some oval bumps behind its gills. There are the same color as his body there so im not sure if there is anything there at all. Also they are identical on both sides. I have been trying to get a pic for a couple hours now but hes very camera shy. Is there something to worry about or am i just freaking out? hes had these ever since i got him about 8 months and dosent show any signs of being infected. no flash, no scratch and eats like a pig but i figured i would still check.

Are you talking about just behind the lower end of the black eyestripe kind of where the yellow line from it's snout "meets" it? If so, that's normal.

yeah kind of. its more where the black one your talking about meets his side fins above the yellow one.

They are beautiful fish; but won't play nice with your smaller fish when grown.
