I do not understand the interest in clowns that are all messed up like that (symmetry wise). Don't worry, I know I am alone in this opinion so I will quiet myself and return to the shadows.

You aren't alone. And interestingly, there seems to be a slight loss in interest recently....but I think they are awesome!:D

You are definitely not alone ficklefins, I think natural looking perculas are much more attractive and these inbred percs often have a deformed looking head.

I like them personally, well enough to purchase one. From what I have been hearing lately, there is an A series, and a B series of these Picassos. These, are the B. The A will have the white that connects to the anal fin, or something like that...they don't have the three definitive stripes....here is mine one without flash, one with:

Just to clarify. These fish are not inbred to get this pattern, and the deformed heads that are sometimes seen in these, naked clowns, snowflakes, black ocellaris and TR clowns in general are a result of husbandry problems, not inbreeding.

the lfs around the corner from me has a "mated pair" for $229, i think they are nice but too bad that almost all their fish have, or are starting to get ich.
