Picked up a Juvi Goldflake today

I stopped by my Lfs today to see a fish they brought in. I didn't really pay attention when he told me Juvi Goldflakes came in with the order. I went to see the small black tangs roughly the size of a quarter. The Goldflakes were pretty much the same size. He brought in two and both priced at 100 bucks. That is a steal if I have ever seen one. Right now the little guy is being acclimated.i really wanted both with a chance of pairing them up, even though that is a remote possibility. Pics to come soon.
 
My LFS just got a baby goldflake in as well that I am debating to get, they are asking $200 which I thought was a great price, looks like yours is much better

I hope the pairing works for you
 
I'm not going for the pairing, I wanted to but the owner of the Lfs said he could only do one at that price and he promised the other to someone else. You can't be to greedy lol.

For that price I wouldn't be suptised if it is a juvi flagfin.
 
There must be a influx of juv. goldflakes at this time. They've been showing up around here too.

What does everyone recommend for a qt procedure with them?
 
Looks like a GF to me.

Thanks, it's in my smaller tank which isn't really a QT tank, but the fact that there's only a clown in there, I can remove them both fairly quickly if need be.
 
I hope she will be fine, I am going away for a week on Saturday, but I found someone at one of the stores I frequent that is going to come to my house daily to look after my fish. I have also set up automatic feeders on all 3 tanks. Will update you on how she is doing sept 1
 
I've been trying to find a tiny regal angel again, but no luck. If I saw one of these goldflakes, I would get one for sure.

Time to start checking the LFS :)

a LFS by me had 3 baby regals, my wife was very thoughtful and went out and bought me one as a surprise, unfortunately I could not get the fish to eat anything and it died about 4 days later. My plan was to try and pair him with my other regal that is about 3.5"
