Picked up a pair of Onyx clowns

I picked up a pair of Onyx clowns from Mitch (Booyah's) last week and couldn't be happier. The cute little guys were barely an inch long and had second thoughts about its survival in my tank. The smaller of the two struggled while I was acclimating it and was on its side. The other clown would nudge it and it would just swim on its side and sink again.

But after placing them in my tank, the little sucker woke up and actively swam and stayed alert.

They pretty much stayed at top corner of the tank for days and I could never see them since the canopy on my tank goes an inch or two below the water line.

Once one my RBTA'S freed up from the main rock and stuck itself on a smaller rock, I went ahead and placed it on top of a tonga rock which raised it halfway up closer to my Onyx pair.

The next day (day 11), I found one of the clowns hosting it and the other one followed an hour later :)

Now I can finally see them (well almost)...

I definitely can't wait till the tail bar shows when the fish matures.

Day-12 (more crappy iPhone pics), the Cardinals also seeking shelter by the RBTA....

nice clowns and anemone combination, my favorite! (i have the same ;) ) love the contrast of the onyx to the rbta...

greetings

Beautiful fish and anemone (and if you haven't done so already, please cover that powerhead ASAP!). IMO, the onyx are the prettiest percula variant.
