Picky eater

I just got a pair of sustainable aquatics black ice clown fish. The food was supposed to come with them but it did not. I have tried fauna Marin soft clown food (seem slightly interested), multiple flakes, mini mysis and other pellets. It's only day 2 in the quarantine but they haven't eaten

What are other people feeding there SA clowns?

They are pretty. Please help. I don't want to wait till they are hungry and tired.

Mysis, standard flakes...

The biggest thing is they are afraid a bit. They just got scopped up and shipped out in this dark box. Tossed around, with no moon light to see where they were. No place to hide when this rush of water was moved around.

Then in a tank to be scooped out again...

Then in your tank.

Where there is nothing but this plastic thing with a hole in it.

Let them get comfortable and out of motion/shipping sickness (hahaha) and they will eat.

As always only feed what they will get eat within a minute. Otherwise it will fowl the water some.

I did vacuum up all the food I fed them today. I'm hope they eat tomorrow. They shipped Tuesday arrived Wednesday at my place. That would be 4 days without if the don't eat tomorrow.

The store I bought them from gave me the sustainable aquatics food that they use I'm happy to say both fish are eating and happy.

When i got mt SA snow onyxs they would not eat nothing but the food from SA.It took about 2 months before they started eating other foods.

They are happy right now and all looks good. I'm not going to medicate them since they came from SA straight to me.

These two are the first two fish back into my main display tank in 26 days. I never quarantined before and I got ick which was a tank wide wipe out while I was on my honeymoon.

So there's no way I will ever not Quarantine again.

Quarantine tank and all the gear was $75. Each clown was way more than that.

Light, tank, lid, and hanging filter $50 (20 gallon)

Bio balls $10

Air pump $15

By all means buy fish but Quarantine EVERY ONE. I should not say it was a tank wide wipe out I only lost Fish not one coral.

If I had done a proper quarantine. I could have easily seen ick on the trigger fish. Then I could've very easily medicated that one fish and maybe it survived and maybe a died but I would not have lost everything else
