Hi Guys/Gals. I went diving this weekend in Catalina and thought I would share some pics and movies. I used my Sony Cybershot DSC-T1 to take all of the pics and I left the settings on auto. The only thing that sucks about this camera is it does not take good pics in low light and you have to be really still or else the pics will blur. So you can imagine how hard it is to take pics underwater with those two strike against you. hahaha
First a short story:
I used a new mask on this trip and was sure it was going to fog up on me. I was having a really hard time with it once we got to the bottom so I got the bright idea to take it off and clean it with some kelp. I took it off and gave it to my brother-in-law to wipe down. Now we are both new at diving but I have never had any problems taking off my mask and am usually pretty comfortable under the sea. Well for some reason this time I started to panic and couldn't control it. My problem was I started to breath through my nose (with no mask on). I thought about shooting to the top (about 30-40 feet down) but then thought to myself, you better get this under control now because when your 60+ feet down your not going to have the option of shooting for the surface. So I took the mask back from my bro and put it back on to calm down. It was really scary and made me think about what I was doing.
Well on to the pics!
