I have this blue tang about almost 2 weeks, I notice on it's back show some gray/lite brown color, can't tell what it is, maybe just scratch but seem expanding, here are the pics, don't know if blurring pic can help? anyone can tell what's this?

fish is in 40G QT tank at this moment, has no eating problem. also treated with cupamarine... it's been 3 days since the treatment, but it's still there.

Picture is not clear enough ... may be a simple scar from a run in with another fish.

it's possible, when i got it from LFS, it's very pale and in bad shape.
but I still use cupamine treatment, and there's only one spot left now.

My blue tang seems to be prone to scratches. TThe fish squeezes in and out of everything. It is usually a couple days before a scratch or mark goes away.

probabaly are some scratches from LFS.
I also have a powder blue at the same QT, which has ich problem.

this is what I'm doing:
change 1/8 water every other days fom display tank.
treat water with right amount cupamain (to new added water too).
has a hanging biowheel type filter (with all the bacteria to digest fish poo-poo)

I also make my own extra fiter (2 liter coke bottle inside with new/old fiber foam + power head)... I feel this help the water quality a lot in QT a lot!

My powder blue is almost gone, and my bule tang's (scratch?) problem also almost healed.

I plan to keep them another 4~6 weeks.
