WOW ... is that a Tunze 6025 nanostream in a 10g tank?

How does it perform? I was thinking that it would be too much!

Do you think it could handle two on a switching device to alternate current?

Ohh ... looks nice btw!

it works fine so far. It took a minute to get the dusters in secure places but other than that alls good. I'm going to deepen the sand bed to stop the bald spot that keeps showing up in the corner soon. I took these pics last night. I thought it was to much too so when I first put in the tunze I put a piece of nylon over it to restrict the flow; after a week I took it off and they were still fine. I s'pose you could alternate? one should be enough. just switch sides every now and then:) be careful for that magnet though it is no joke.

Nice tank. That's one hell of a bristle worm you've got there!

For a little cleaner look adding a background and putting the heater in the filter would do wonders.

HEROSTAR--I like the mirror so I can peep. I'm gonna try and get one that covers the whole back to look better. Thats a bristle star your talking about I think. I do have bristle worms too though. It's ok and works to put the heater in the filter? I'll think about that. thanks

STIEGER--I think that is a red banded goby. I just realized him and the watchman share custody. He hangs with the red banded the most but The watchman get weekends I guess. the pistol shrimp has only been in the tank for two weeks maybe he's just taking his time choosing.

how do you like the banded shrimp goby? i was thinking about getting one, how is his personality? does he primarily stay to the bottom? not sure if that fish has a swim blatter or not.

he's ok not a lot of personality. Stays at the bottom and tends to hide a good amount of the time. He has gotten a lot more confident and shown more personality with the pistol shrimp around though.

Have you been to the Marine Scene out in Herndon yet? You need to go check out their livestock selection. I picked up 5 frags after the holidays, they were originally 2 for $30, they gave them to me for $10 a piece. Picked up 2 nice colonies Zoas, GSP, a ricordia, and a single head of frogspawn.

How are you finding the urchin in there?

My only impulse buy so far has been a black spiny, he grabs corals attached to small frag rocks and likes to push them into the sand or carry them around.. he may have to go.
