Pics of my 600g AGE Hybrid

CMM, Melvinco- Many thanks.

I actually spend most of my evening sat at this computer and watching my tank.

I think its time I took a few more pictures.

I agree :) time for more pics. your setup is as good as anyone could hope to aspire to. Thanks for sharing

Could you please tell me what is this fish? Bottom center looks like a powder brown tang but it looks so blue is that the lighting??

NR: yes its a powder brown, picking up the blue of the lights. I have had him for close to 6 years now. He is an absolute pig. I think I may have to put him on a diet.

dweathers, Thanks!

Regards,

Paul.

Great mixed reef man, I love how you have lots of monti and let stuff grow on and around them. The caps look great with stuff growing on and around them.

I may have missed it... what type of MH bulbs and ballasts are you running and what are they 20K?

love the colors of your tank. no only beautiful corals and fish, but a nice variance of colors across the whole tank

Hi Amstar,
The bulbs are Reeflux 14k 250w mh and a bunch of assorted T5s.

Ballasts are from coralvue.

It seemed like you had great growth and coloration with just T5. What made you decide to add halides?

I added them back because the shimmer, or glitter lines, actually make the tank look bigger by adding a level of contrast and shadow to the aquascaping.

I dont regret the change at all.

Paul.

Mathusala: Thanks!
