Pictures of my 20 Long!

I've tried to do a search, but haven't had luck . . . what are the dimensions of the 20L? I'm thinking of one for our dining room.

Yes it is a fishneedit fixture. Works well so far, I've only had it for 2 weeks so I will come out with the verdict in a year about the ballasts...lol.

I've got two fishneedit T5 fixtures....2 foot 4 bulb and a 4 foot 4 bulb.....no problems so far :) The 2 foot one grows everything in the 20L frag tank, from mushrooms to SPS. The 4 foot fixture is currently over one of my freshwater tanks, growing plants and such. It'll be put over the 40L when we move and redo the tank.

I ordered a 70W metal halide from them this past week....should be here Monday or Tuesday. I'm so excited!!!! I can't wait to put it over my 10gal and see what it can do!:celeb1:

Mike, the aquascape you have looks amazing in that tank. It makes the tank look soooooooooo much bigger. I'd love to be able to see it in person. And btw, every torch Jesse and I have gotten from you is growing like crazy....including the TT

Thank you so much Karen. Well you guys recommended the fixture and I love it so far. I'm happy those torches are growing well, I will be nabbing a frag of TT from you guys in a year or two...lol. Though the one I have now is looking close enough for me to be satisfied with. We'll have to see.

I'm glad you love the fixture.....for what I can afford right now, fishneedit fixtures are definitely worth the price :)

You know you'll have first dibs on the TT when you're ready to get a head back....it's definitely 2 full complete heads already  It just needs to build it's coral skeleton some more....hurry up! lol.

I have to admit though, that purple torch I bought off of you is one of my favorites....it just about rivals the TT in length of tentacles. I actually like it just as much as the TT :lol2: They both seem to love laminar flow like crazy. I can't wait for it to split so I can put a head of it in my tank....though I'm quickly running out of room with this crazy huge frogspawn that I was planning on putting in there once I get my metal halide. Looks like I might need to set up another tank

You had some incredibly hardy strains of torches....even the green one with light colored tips is growing like crazy after Jesse ended up accidently cracking the head when cutting it to attach it to our torch tree.....it's split into three pieces, and they're all growing like crazy *shakes head* I expected them all to die, but the one piece should be ready to give to Ryan in a month or two....that's how fast it's healed and grown. Any time down the road that you're looking for frags of your torches back, just let Jesse or me know....I'm sure we'll have huge colonies by then!!!!

Looks good Mike -hey ? for you....Is their really a Todd or is that just part of the naming of Toddstorch.Seems like every other post is about this Toddstorch and Ive never seen this Todd post in the forum but everyone seems to want his torch.

Any plans for sps or other fish for the 20?

If the legend is true it's originally from a guy named Tom, I'd have to ask the veterans those questions. I'm sure Gary M. knows. I'm looking at fish, I have 2 Striped Cardinals, 1 Purple Pseudo, 1 Black Clown, 1 Bangaii, 1 Randalls Goby and I'm looking to get rid of most of them and replacing with one or two nice fish. I'm not sure about SPS yet, I'm looking to check out the PAR readings soon.

BTW Pascal. Thanks for the camera compliment.

Ok thanks.
Mike,
Are you planning on purchasing a true macro lens?
Im only asking because Ive heard you can get an adapter lens thats suppose to work pretty decent for macro shots. From what I was told it goes on over your regular lens.I looked into it maybe a year ago but not awole lot.Stumbled on a deal for a fixed macro and snatched it up.

Hmmm, I haven't heard of that but I will be looking into it for sure. Thanks for the headsup! More pictures coming tonight folks. I picked up a new coral called Pectinia and I'm going to need some pro's to tell me exactly what kind it is. It's either a Pectinia Alcicornis or Pectinia Paeonia. Pic's tonight!

Here are some pic's. I will post this in a few of the coral forums as well.

I believe a type of Pectinia. I'm not familiar with this either, nor do I know if it's in decent health. But I saw it and impulsed bought it....not good. So, I have moved it to the sand for now in a decent flow moderate lit spot so hopefully I can get this thing to color up more. As of now the colors are great so I'm hoping to get it really colored up.
