Pictures of my 20 Long!

Woke up this morning turned on the Actinics and this is what this guy looks like. Hopefully it's a better picture.

Aaron, it's called a Pectinia coral. Interesting looking LPS. Large mouth in the center with semi vertical bony walls.

I've had three fishneed it fixtures. The 24 was alright. Aaron S had it last I knew. The 48 blew both ballasts so screw that thing. The 36 has been fine but I never use it.

I love the 20 gal. Such a great size. I'm breeding Eastern American Toads in mine this spring.

Tom at TRS has a torch that he calls Toms torch. It is different than the talked about Todds torch. Todds is more abundant in NY than it is elsewhere. It is traveling though. Very nice coral.

Thanks Dave!

Aren't those sweeper tentacles insane Pascal!? First thing I saw when I was searching was that, so that's why I'm looking for a good spot with a pretty constant direction of flow.

Emm-I have heard about the ballast issue but have been told Customer Service is great and usually will send you one for free. Sometimes you can find a wild caught that looks similar to the really nice torches. I have seen the Tom's torch too. It's nice.

I'll have to look into that. Glad I still have the fixture. Thanks.

Did you use the bulbs it came with or did you replace them right away. I never had any luck with the bulbs that came with it. Well, I always had a problem with the tanks I had those bulbs over.

Thanks Henry. Here is an update.

I had been looking for Sunset Montipora frags for quite sometime. I ended up receiving two of them, one from my friend Tim and another from Steve(graves). I only have a picture of Tim's in my system, and I'm saving Steve's for my other project! Thanks again Steve!

I received this Scolymia Australis for free. I don't see a very good recovery but I'm darn sure going to try hard to save it. It's mouth is existent and it has been eating. So I'm a few steps in the right direction.

Update!

Update!

Well I picked up the CPR AeroFuge Deluxe Small. This thing is one bad motha(shut yo mouth). Perfect for my 20L and I could not complain at all so far. It was built really well, the new skimmer is putting out plenty of bubbles and the light is great as well. So here are a few pictures!

Skimmer on the left fits into the left part of the refugium.

This pump is tiny, 100gph and is the only pump put into the display.

So far so good. Mud, dry LR rubble, and rubble from my old Aqua Clear 70 was put into the refugium and I will be picking up some macroalgae this week.:celeb1:
